08/09/2018: New tit-for-tat round in China-US trade war | US-Turkey relations in turmoil

China announced it will impose additional tariffs of 25 percent on 16 bln US dollars worth of imported US products. The duties will take effect on August 23, in sync with the US tariffs. What impact have these tit-for-tat actions already made on China’s economy and world trade in general?
