11 miners missing in flooded coal mine in NW China

Eleven miners went missing in a coal mine flooding accident in northwest China’s Shaanxi Province on Monday.

The flooding happened around 8 a.m. at Zhaojin Coal Mine in the city of Tongchuan. 67 workers were in the shaft.

Fifty-six of them managed to escape.

Rescuers are searching for the missing.
