15 People Lost Eyesight After Surgery In Haryana Govt Hospital

Haryana minister Anil Vij was seen justifying the transfer of a SP with whom he had a public spat and failed to provide attention to the 15 people from his own constituency who allegedly lost their
eyesight after a botched-up surgery in a government medical camp. The camp was reportedly organised 10 days ago, however, no formal complaint has been filed till now. The Haryana government has also been left fumbling for words after reports emerged of police turning away a 21-year-old rape survivor. Apparently, the police was forced filed an FIR in that particular case only after it was pressurised. “The camp was very unclean. There are hardly any machines to conduct the surgeries. When they removed the bandages, I could not see anything,” said one of the victims whose eye operation was conducted in the Ambala medical camp.
