18 refugees drown in Aegean Sea off Turkey

At least 18 migrants drowned and 14 others were rescued on Saturday after a boat taking them to Greece sank off the Turkish coast. Turkey’s Dogan news agency says the wooden boat was transporting Iraqi, Pakistani and Syrian migrants and refugees to the Greek Island of Kalymnos. It sank after leaving the southern Turkish town of Bodrum.
