228 km per hour! Russian racing car set a new speed record in harsh Arctic climate

A Russian IndyCar series racing car set a new speed while travelling across the frozen Lovozero lake in Russia’s arctic Murmansk Region with a record of 228 kilometers per hour.

A team of specialists have planned and prepared the icy track for several months.

Mechanics also adapted the racing car to the harsh Arctic climate.
