236 suspects busted in football gambling cases in China

China’s Ministry of Public Security has said they have caught more than 200 people suspected of making illegal football wagers. Betting in China is not allowed, but regulations have not stopped some people from trying to make cash from the matches. More than 4 million US dollars have been confiscated or frozen in a probe involving overseas gambling sites.
