A priceless ancient Chinese piece of bronzeware is on display at the National Archaeological Museum of Athens as part of the museum’s 150th anniversary celebrations. The dragon-and-snake-patterned vessel is about 2,500 years old and was excavated in 1923 in central China’s Henan Province. It will be displayed there for three months before returning to China. The Greek Culture and Sports Minister, Aristides Baltas, said the display of precious Chinese relics in Athens symbolized the meeting of two great ancient cultures.
