300 percent rise in weapons entering Mexico over last five years

As casualties in Mexico’s war on drugs mount, a new study found the influx of weapons in the last five years has risen more than 300 percent. The uptick in fatalities has called into question whether the Mexican government is doing enough to fight drug traffickers. 58 countries were identified as exporters, with the US, Russia, China, France, and Germany being the largest suppliers.
