31 Passenger trains collide in Iran, killing at least 31

In Iran, at least 31 people were killed on Friday when two passenger trains collided in the northern province of Semnan. The provincial governor said the death toll is likely to rise. The trains collided at a station about 400 kilometers east of the capital Tehran. A spokesman for Iran’s Red Crescent said firefighters were trying to control the blaze.
