Is it possible to make food through 3D printing? A team of engineers, chefs, artists, and designers from the Netherlands are optimistic about of feasibility of such idea. They have created the world’s first 3D printing restaurant – Food Ink, using a 3D printing machine to blend chocolate, cheese, and dough and make it into different shapes. The food will be designed on a computer, and the “food ink” will come out of the printer and be formed into different shapes. However, the final dish carries a high price tag – 250 pounds per person.
