400 refugees missing after boats capsize en route to Italy

Unconfirmed media reports say that as many as 400 migrants are feared to have drowned after their boats capsized off the Egyptian coast, in an attempt to reach Europe on Monday. The news comes on the first anniversary of the worst migrant disaster of 2015. At that time, up to 800 migrants drowned in the waters between Libya and Lampedusa.
