“Of the 15 new sports facilities that we are committed to build for the Olympic Games, 12 have already been delivered. There are only 3 facilities to be ready, which are the aquatic center ending in April, the tennis center in May and the velodrome at the very end of May.”

The velodrome had some delay, but event tests are going on at fast tempo.

“We have carried out more than 20 event tests and all athletes praised the playing fields. I think the velodrome is being done by specialists on fast track. There will be no problems.”

The new facilities share a collective name – the Olympic Park, covering an area of 1.18 million square meters and with comprehensive function for various events and media coverage.
