AAP Apologises for Somnath Bharti’s Sexist Remark about Beautiful Women

AAP leader Preeti Menon today apologised for the ‘sexist’ remarks by AAP’s Somnath Bharati, in which he had said that “beautiful women” would feel safe in the city, should the Delhi police come under the ambit of the state government. “I would like to apologise to everybody who is offended by the statement,” Preeti Menon said. However, Congress’ Ragini Nayak slammed the AAP government for lending its support to Bharti, saying, “AAP continues to defend this misogynistic person.” Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami , along with AAP leader Preeti Menon and Congress spokesperson Ragini Nayak, on the second debate on THE NESHOUR tonight discussed the ‘beautiful women’ comment made by the AAP leader Somnath Bharti, which has been deemed as ‘sexist’ by many.
