Former President APJ Abdul Kalam will be buried on Thursday (July 30) in his home town in Tamil Nadus Rameswaram. The funeral will be held around 10.30 AM and would be attended by Prime Minister Modi and a host of political leaders, including some Chief Ministers. The governments in Tamil Nadu and neighbouring Puducherry have declared a public holiday today as a mark of respect to Kalam. Tributes have been pouring in from home and abroad to pay respects to the countrys “missile man” whose life inspires countless Indians. The 83-year-old former Head of State passed away after suffering a massive cardiac arrest during a lecture at the IIM Shillong on Monday.
