Afghanistan blast: At least 61 killed at protest against power line plan in Kabul

The Afghanistan health ministry says at least 61 people have been killed and 207 other wounded by an explosion that ripped through an area in Kabul where hundreds of minority Shiite Hazaras were protesting. ISIL has claimed responsibility for the attack. Earlier, thousands of people from the Hazara minority gathered to demand changes to the route of a planned multi-million-dollar power transmission line. The Hazaras want the line to pass through their electricity-thirsty home provinces to provide them with power supplies.
