Aid has finally arrived in the northern town of Jarabulus in Syria after a ceasefire went into effect on Monday. Two trucks delivered food and toys including 25 tons of flour, rice and pasta. The aid arrived on the third day of the Muslim Eid al-Adha holiday. The shipment was organized by the youth wing of Turkey’s ruling AKP party, and was made possible after Turkish-backed Syrian rebels ousted ISIL fighters from the town last month.
