All in-orbit tests of world’s first quantum satellite to finish in November

The Chinese Academy of Sciences says the world’s first experimental quantum communication satellite is running well and official experiments will begin in November following completion of all in-orbit tests. Scientists say quantum communication offers ultra-high security, as a quantum photon can neither be separated nor duplicated, making it impossible to tap, intercept or crack information transmitted through it.
