All Nirbhaya In India Waiting For Justice – DCW Chief Swati Maliwal

With the Supreme Court set to hear Delhi Women Commission’s (DCW) plea against the release of the juvenile in the Nirbhaya rape case on Monday (December 21), DCW chief Swati Maliwal tweeted saying that she had approached the court on behalf of “all Nirbhayas”. “Today on behalf of all Nirbhayas waiting for justice in India, I am approaching Hon’ble SC with a plea to not let Nirbhayas rapist walk free,” Maliwal tweeted. In a dramatic post-midnight move on Saturday, the Delhi Commission for Women had approached the Supreme Court to stay release of the juvenile convict, who is now 21 years old and was known to be the most brutal of the attackers in the December 16 gang rape and murder case. A vacation bench comprising Justices A K Goel and U U Lalit in their order pronounced at 2 AM, posted the matter for hearing on Monday.
