AlphaGo wins final round in historic Go match

On Tuesday Google’s Go-playing computer program AlphaGo claimed victory and ended its historic match of the ancient Chinese board game with Go grandmaster Lee Se-dol of South Korea, winning 4-1 in the best-of-five series. The final winner was already a foregone conclusion after Lee lost the first three rounds of the five-game match. AlphaGo won 1 million U.S. dollars in prize money which will be donated to charities.
