35 year old Murugan is no ordinary auto-rickshaw driver, but one with a unique cause. On a mission to stop child labour and help orphan children lead a dignified life, Murugan has been working relentlessly towards his cause. A role model for the society, in the last six years Murugan has rescued and rehabilitated more than 5,000 people. Every morning, while driving through the clogged roads of the city, he has an eye out for children working in shops or begging for a living. An orphan himself Murugan would not only rescue people from the streets but in 2013 he also set up Theruvoram, a shelter for the homeless and the mentally ill. A messiah on a mission, Murugan wants to transform as many lives as he can.
