Ankara claims Russian jet violated its airspace

Turkey has accused Russia of a fresh violation of its airspace, warning Moscow it would “face consequences”, as relations between the two nations already stand on shaky ground. The Turkish foreign ministry says a Russian Su-34 plane violated Turkish airspace at Friday noon local time, despite repeated warnings from Turkey in Russian and English. Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan has condemned the alleged incursion. Natalie Carney has more on Turkey’s reactions.
