Apple opens Siri to outside developers

Apple has announced some new changes to its Siri software at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco on Monday. The Chief Executive Tim Cook said that Apple is opening its Siri digital assistant to outside developers, a move that could allow users to operate apps or search for photos and files with their voice commands. The company also announced there would be a new operating system for the Apple Watch, a change to its macOS operating system and greater application of Siri’s artificial intelligence to its messaging service.
