Asia’s longest and highest bridge to open to traffic

Asia’s longest and highest bridge, Longjiang Grand Bridge, will open to traffic on May 1, 2016. The 100-feet-long suspension bridge hovers at a nail-biting 920 feet above the valley below and is the tallest and longest of its kind to be built between two mountains in Asia. It has finished closure in advance and passed load test on April 5. The bridge connects the cities of Baoshan and Tengchong.
