Assignment Asia Episode 47: A year in China’s acrobatics town

Away from the comforts and familiarity of home in Africa, eight Nigerian teenagers traveled to China to learn an ancient art they’ve never had any experience in.

The students, including 16-year-old Temmy Aiya, took part in a Chinese government program to study acrobatics right in its birthplace in China.

DJ Clark followed the students during their rigorous yearlong training at a school in Wuqiao, the hometown of Chinese acrobatics, and witnessed their struggles and triumphs.
