Polio remains endemic in Pakistan, one of only two countries in the world where it is so. The Pakistani government has been aggressive in its vaccination drive, but workers on the ground face security threats, and sometimes, an unwelcoming public. Danial Khan meets the health workers who are rising up to dangers and challenges to put an end to polio in Pakistan.

Having access to running and potable water used to be just a dream for many of Cambodia’s poorest communities. But the situation is changing, and the country is now able to meet one of its Millennium Development Goals. Martin Lowe shows us how Cambodia is making great strides in bringing clean water to its people.
