At least 13 dead in boat accident in central Thai city of Ayutthaya

At least 13 people have been killed after their boat hit a bridge and capsized in the central Thai city of Ayutthaya. One child was among those killed and nearly a dozen are missing. The double-decker boat was traveling the Chao Phraya river at 4 pm local time when the crash happened near the Wat Sanam Chai temple, a popular tourist destination 50 miles north of Bangkok. More than 100 passengers were believed to be on the boat at the time of the accident.
