At least 13 people have been killed as a powerful new quake rocked Japan. A magnitude 7.3 earthquake struck the southern Japanese island of Kyushu, bringing down buildings and injuring many more. Saturday morning’s quake shook the region just one day after the 6.4-magnitude quake in the same region killed nine people. The tremor was felt across wide swathes of southern Japan and triggered a tsunami warning, although the advisory was soon lifted.
