At least 21 killed in Pakistan’s Bacha Khan University

Pakistani authorities on Wednesday concluded an operation to clear a university of gunmen who attacked its campus, resulting in the deaths of at least 21 people. The assault was initially claimed by a Taliban faction, but was later branded “un-Islamic” by the group’s leadership in Pakistan, who vowed to hunt down those responsible. The Pakistani military said the campus has been cleared and the four gunmen are dead.
