A car bomb in a district south of Damascus killed at least six people on Monday, according to ISIL militants who claimed responsibility for the assault. State media said the bombing took place on the outskirts of Sayeda Zeinab, home to Syria’s holiest Shiite Muslim shrine. The area has already been jolted by two terrorist bomb attacks this year.
