ATS & NIA Probe Brutal Murder Of NIA officer

Sources tell TIMES NOW that Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Special Task Force (STF) probing National Investigation Agency (NIA) officer Tanzil Ahmed’s murder have revealed that officer didn’t have any personal enmity or big property dispute that would warrant such a brutal killing. His field of work was western Uttar Pradesh and terror network of Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and Indian Mujahideen (IM). NIA also told ATS that he was part of core team that busted the IS module. Officers privy to the probe have said that Tanzeel has established a network among underground network of SIMI and its offshoot. He had a big informer network. The killing was to send a warning to ATS officials who’ve been operating in the area for years.
