A day after the Muslim bodies decided to boycott Law commission’s questionnaire to seek public opinion on the uniform civil code, former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee questions the Muslim bodies for attacking Law Commission.
The Government has later sent a clear message saying that those objecting to it must join the debate instead of boycotting it.
Exclusively speaking to TIMES NOW, Sorabjee said, “Any law contrary to the constitution must go. We don’t need to abolish tripe talaq but we can modify it. The attitude of the Mislim bodies appears to be regressive and non-liberal.”
