Australian university creates app to detect autism

An Australian university has created an app to help parents decide whether or not their children may have signs of autism. The app developed at La Trobe University in Melbourne, claims to indicate whether a child as young as 12 months old, has signs of autism. The app, called ASDetect, takes parents through a series of tests and questions to help identify the symptoms. The developers believe it will give children the best chance of reaching their maximum potential.
