The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Tuesday expresses his sympathies to all those affected in a strong quake in Taiwan.

“In the aftermath of the recent earthquake in Taiwan, Province of China, which reportedly, killed more than 30 people, the Secretary-General expresses his sympathies to all those affected, especially the loved ones of those who have lost their life.”
The 6.7-magnitude quake hit southern Taiwan on Saturday.
The death toll has risen to 40 and more than 100 others remain missing.
