Bangladeshi police say one of the men they shot dead during the cafe siege in Dhaka over the weekend may have been a hostage who worked in the kitchen instead. Relatives rang the alarm after recognizing him among the pictures of suspected attackers that police released after the siege. The assault was initially claimed by ISIL, but the government has dismissed those claims. Police believe an outlawed domestic group, which pledged allegiance to ISIL, played a significant role in organizing the attack.
