Under the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act enacted by ex-President Bill Clinton in 1996, any legal immigrant in the United States who has committed a crime can be deported back to their home countries.

More recently, the number of deportations of Cambodians surged due to Trump’s aggressive anti-immigrant policies.

What happens when these immigrants get removed from their families to live in a country they hardly know?
