Barter market in Mexico City allows locals to exchange trash for food

A barter market in Mexico City has come up with an innovative way of fighting pollution problems. Since 2012, it’s been allowing people to exchange their trash for food. Once a month, they can drop off their waste and, in return, pick up vegetables, fruits, organic food and even plants. CCTV’s Martin Markovits reports.
