BCCI President Manohar Calls For Report

As the debate over ban on Barabati Cricket Stadium in Cuttack for international cricket escalates, BCCI President Shashank Manohar has asked the Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) to submit a report on the bottle throwing incident during second T20 international between India and South Africa. The match, which South Africa won by six wickets, was stopped more than once after angry spectators started throwing bottles on the ground following India’s poor performance. The match was completed after the trouble-making stands were evacuated. The unruly behaviour of the fans drew unanimous condemnation with former captains Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar among those deploring the incident.
