Beaches in S. Thailand closed after venomous jellyfish invasion

Swimmers in the southern part of Thailand are being warned to be careful after storms pushed large numbers of jellyfish ashore. Many beaches have been closed after masses of Portuguese Man-of-War and box jellyfish appeared in southern Thailand’s Phi Phi Island and Koh Samui. The venom from these creatures can be fatal.
