Belgium on high alert for terror threat

Brussels raised terror threat level to “maximum” on Saturday in fear of a Paris-style attack.
The government received information on the risk of an attack targeting at “shopping centers, public transport and big events”,according to Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel.
The Belgian capital closed its subway network and shuttered shops and public buildings.Enhanced controls were set up at the border with France, as well as in railway stations and airports. Military presence has also been bolstered.
