BJP’s Shatrughan Sinha May Join Congress?

Randeep Surjewala on Monday (October 19) met sulking BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha amid reports of growing differences between the latter and his party, a meeting which the Congress leader described as a “social call”. Surjewala, who called on Sinha at the latter’s residence, later said no political significance should be attached to it. “I have deep regards for Shatrughan Sinhaji. Every personal relationship can’t be viewed from political prism. Hope media friends understand,” the chief spokesperson of the opposition party said in a tweet. “It was just a social call,” he said. The actor-turned-politician has been critical of BJP’s policies and not campaigned for the party in Bihar assembly elections so far. In a recent tweet, Sinha said he was “upset” with the news that BJP could have done better in the first two phases of Bihar assembly polls.
