FIFA President Sepp Blatter on Monday said he does not expect to be found guilty of corruption by Swiss police, following his eight-year ban from football. Blatter and UEFA President Michel Platini were kicked out of football by an independent ethics committee for conflict of interests and disloyalty to FIFA in a two-million US dollar payment deal. This is also the subject of a criminal investigation in Switzerland. Meanwhile, Platini has vowed to go to court to fight the decision, calling it a “pure masquerade”.
