Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today said that the book launch of Pakistan’s former foreign Minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri should go on, despite an alleged ink attack by Shiv Sena on Sudheendra Kulkarni, chairman of the Observer Research Foundation and the event organiser.

Terming the attack as “cowardly”, Chavan said,” CM Devendra Fadnavis should take up the responsibility to ensure that no untoward incident happen” during the program. He criticised the state government for not reigning in people from taking law in their hands. He also questioned the Prime Minister’s silence on this issue and said, “The blame must be laid at the door of the Prime Minister, who is not willing to comment on any of the happenings of the country”.
