Chinese President Xi Jinping has met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the annual BRICS summit in the western Indian state of Goa. The meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral ties as this year marks the 66th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and India. Both countries are eyeing enhanced cooperation, especially in areas like railways and industrial park construction, as well as vocational training. The BRICS summit aims to address core issues on the global economy, financial cooperation and trade between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.
