British Prime Minister Theresa May has revealed the UK’s much-anticipated Brexit timeline. May addressed the Conservative Party Conference on Sunday and said the country will trigger the formal mechanism for leaving the European Union before the end of March next year known as “Article 50”. Triggering Article 50 of the EU’s Lisbon Treaty means the UK will get two years to negotiate its exit. The prime minister also says she won’t make a “running commentary” on the negotiations.
