Buk maker: MH17 shot down by 9M38 missile

Russian state arms producer Almaz-Antey that makes the Buk ground-to-air missile system, which is widely assumed to have been used to shoot down Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 in Ukraine in July 2014, presented the results of its own research into the crash on Tuesday.
They said the aircraft was hit by a 9M38 missile launched from Zaroshchenske village and the missile exists in Ukraine’s arsenal and is not used by Russia’s military.
