Burkina Faso votes for new president after year of upheaval

Burkina Faso is voting in an election to choose its first new president in decades. The country’s long-time leader Blaise Compaore was overthrown a year ago in an uprising backed by the army. Millions cast their votes in what has been called the most democratic election in the nation’s history. Fourteen candidates are running the election.
