Cameron says UK economic security better in EU

British Prime Minister David Cameron has told anti-Brexit campaigners that EU membership makes Britain economically stronger and safer.

Addressing a group of “Remain” supporters on Saturday, Cameron said the UK’s economic security would be better in a reformed European Union, and would be seriously at risk if Britain were to leave.

Earlier this week, the Bank of England said “Brexit” could push the world’s fifth largest economy into recession, while the International Monetary Fund said it could start a spiral of weaker growth, and lower house and share prices.
