Political parties in Myanmar are busy campaigning ahead of the general election set for November 8th. It will be the country’s first free national vote in 25 years. National League for Democracy chairperson Aung San Suu Kyi has pledged to form a corruption-free government, empower workers and end reliance on foreign aid. She also says her party will try to change the 2008 constitution.
