Cape Town embraces Earth Hour by going green

The annual Earth Hour is a global movement advocating the protection of our planet and awareness of climate change. Organized by the World Wildlife Fund, it’s a movement to engage mainstream communities on environmental issues, particularly climate change. Households and businesses are encouraged to turn off non-essential lights as they reflect on the health of the planet. This year, more than 7,000 cities are officially taking part. CCTV’s Travers Andrews reports from one of them: Cape Town, South Africa.
