Car chase leads to drug bust in China

Two men in central China’s Hunan Province were detained for driving a fuel truck while under the influence of drugs.

On Nov. 6, a police officer in Changde City spotted the fuel tanker which did not have a front license plate, and signalled it to pull over.

But instead of turning off the engine, the truck sped off after taking a U-turn, and started a car chase.

The tank truck ran for about 10 kilometers, rammed into two other vehicles, smashed down a residential building on the roadside, before it was forced to stop.

Police then discovered meth, an extremely addictive drug on the oil truck. The two men were found to be cousins who took the drugs on the vehicle.
